Some Facebook Christian reactions to the Respect for Marriage Act being passed. Lots of prayers for mercy, lots of warnings of him seeking revenge/doling out punishment.
The more distance I get from Christianity’s god, the more I see him as an abusive bully. These people are cowering in fear before a god they genuinely believe has a history of committing genocide and will do it again, and they expect you to cower too. And to worship him at the same time. What is there in this monster to be worshiped?
