Some ballet pieces are now being incorporated as fairytales by many, which lead me to the questioning if it's possible to apply as characters from famous pieces such as The Nutcracker and Black Swan?
Yes! Ballet pieces are usually based on an older fable or legend, which would mean that they are considered accepted!
Can I apply as Batman? If not, how about Spiderman?

Why aren’t Disney/Pixar/Comic characters allowed?
Disney & Pixar and any other movie is a retelling of the actual Fable. Sometimes Disney and Pixar make up their own tales that are based off Fables but everything is different – much like what roleplayers would be doing in the roleplay anyways. The Wolf Among Us deals with fictional characters from myths, legends, folklore, nursery rhymes, fairytales, etc. Comic book characters do not fall under this category.

I know you explained it a bit in the info provided here. But I have a question on the magic? Like can the Jack frost muse here still create winters-- and like in the game if someone came as the big bad wolf would they be able to turn into a wolf? Or is it up to you to say if your muse still retained any magic even after coming to the real world?
All Fables are still, technically, able access their magic in the Mundy World. In fact, the more popular the Fable, the more powerful said Fable is in regards to their lifespan and general magic usage. With that being said, it’s still up to you to decide whether or not you want their powers to be available — or which powers they still keep!

The idea of the comic book ‘Fables' and the game 'The Wolf Among Us' is that their storybook endings don't necessarily happen the way they should, mostly because their lives were shattered by the Adversary. The Adversary made sure to take over most of the lands the Fables have come to live in, thus giving us their current setting in New York City using glamour to ensure they can leave somewhat peacefully somewhere else.
A Fable may or may not remember their past — that’s actually all up to the role-player! For example, Red remembers everything from her life as a Fable right up to her time now. You must also take into consideration that some Fables don’t live the life they’re depicted of having in the fairytales. It’s said on the wiki that the Mundies adapted the lives of the Fables into stories, so they may or may not be accurate. In the end, it’s all up to how someone tailors their muse and utilizes the knowledge given in this alternate verse!

just out of curiosity, how long will it take for you to knock out someone who is inactive? i get cuz you're a new rp it might be a little longer, i'm just curious.
As we are a fairly new directory we will be allowing 2 weeks for activity. We understand that some members are inactive and we will be holding an activity check this coming Wednesday and every second following Wednesday.

in the housing, you state that the more prominent fables would live in the nicer housing. is this due to a particular reason? do the more prominent fables have a "trust fund" or are they just more prone to getting better jobs, or something else?
The more prominent fables are well known among Fabletown so in turn receive higher priority and respect than those who are less known, therefore having greater opportunities regarding housing and jobs.
