i like the idea that Janus if he’s trying to convince someone would tilt his head a little more towards his human side as a way to be like “trust me!! i am so innocent!!”

I have ideas that the sides have “different realms”. Basically domains in the mind palace that are theirs and theirs alone. Other sides can go in, but if it’s not their domain, they’re usually weaker power wise. (I have yet to think of one for patton and virgil.)

Logan: A vast library of all Thomas has ever known. Catalogues of his favorite books with little sprites to keep them organized. And newly, a weird orange hallway he has yet to venture into. Who knows what that’s about.

Remus: The dark side of the imagination of course. Filled with vile creatures and monsters. However the dark side of the mind palace is dual owned by him and Janus. It isn’t split in the middle like the imagination, their power melds in there. It’s mixed with gross goop and gunk, old spiderwebs, and decorated as homely as possible.

Roman: The “good” side of the imagination. A vast kingdom/city, with regular townsfolk. Remus has a cave in this city, where him and Roman fight off the devious dragon witch.

Janus: Hidden in the deep forests of the dark side of the imagination, is a little side of the forest even Roman isn’t aware exists. The branches turn from a dull grey to a twisted warm brown, the leaves turn auburn and orange to draw you into its grasp. In the middle of this forest filled with warm air, snakes, green grass and beautiful trees, lies the biggest tree sat in the middle of a clearing. The tree of knowledge. It’s an apple tree, each fruit bearing a secret even Janus himself cannot keep. If you manage to find the tree, you may ask him for an apple. But beware, it comes at a price. For no one asks the protector of the tree for its fruit at no price at all. The bargain must be worth it to Janus.

along with this i have a headcanon that Janus has “favor tokens”. Little coins that if you flip them you can summon Janus and ask him for a favor. It’s really only if you did him a deed that he owes you immeasurably for. I think remus owns one. No one else has known that they exist.

i think thomas should abuse animal sound effects in his media more. Mainly for janus. I think when janus is angry they should sound like a rattlesnake.

people i know are getting emails and letters with colleges being “i want you!!” i have gotten zero they do NOT want my ass. Too bad college. Too bad

Roman: Fidget spinner. Thinks it makes him look cool. It does not.

Logan: Yknow those cubes with the multiple sides? Yeah.

Janus: Those fidget wooden snakes bro would love those

Remus: He wouldn’t use any actual stim toy. Instead he’d use something like a chinese finger trap or breaking pencils.

Patton; Pop-itz or the severely better, older, version - bubble wrap. It just doesn’t give the same feeling as a good ol bubble wrap.

Virgil: Needoh cube. I say this because I got one and am projecting bro would love a needoh. Any stress ball really but needoh cube…
