Diana Silvers has a lot of similar face features as Kristen, not only that but I wanted to darken her up a bit. Though described as pale in the book and movie, probably to appease to systemic racism, a girl that’s lived in Arizona probably isn’t that pale. Plus I’m a bit bias in picking a Jewish actress 🥰

Though in the book Edward is described has having auburn hair, and they attempt to recreate some of that within the movie, I couldn’t find anyone else like Jacob that had the “Edward” vibe to them. I can just see him as Edward 100% especially within a modernized adaptation.

Devery is gorgeous, badass and an activist for her people! She’s also Canadian, so I’ve seen her in tons of interviews. I totally feel like she could play Leah so well! (Also with that exact haircut, it would be everything 😍)

Louis Hofmann is a german actor from the series “Dark.” I honestly just get Jasper vibes from him. Just a quite type ya know? Plus I would love to see shorter hair and more strawberry toned on Jasper!

Jospehine would play a bitch ass Rosalie. I can literally picture it in my head, the only downside would be that she looks a bit younger ! And I would give her some extensions in a movie adaption.

John playing a goofy and dumb Emmett? Count me in pls. Even though John is super “Hollywood” star status right now and maybe going with someone more ‘Netflix’ would be a better choice, I can also picture John with a stupid hat on, talking nonsense.

Jessica is a bit of an older choice and so is Sam, but the reason I wanted it that way was due to Smeyers poor writing of the cullens anyway. There’s absolutely no way god damn 20 yr olds would get away with fostering all these almost adult kids. I totally picture the cullen parents to be atleast 30 guys. Anyway Jessica is total “mom” type, and I would love to see something different with Esme’s hair.

Sam is almost nearly as perfect as Peter. I mean?? He’s chivalrous and dashing, can totally play a handsome Dad and Doctor. Also I like the darker hair, but Sam with lighter hair also looks just as “Carlisle”y 🥰

reading the snippet of new moon in rosalies pov that smeyer wrote where it explains why rosalie told edward alice had seen bella jump, just makes so much more sense towards rosalies character? like you truly understand that rosalies only real motivation is her family. and even then the only people in the cullen family that have ever fully chosen her has been carlisle and emmett.

like edward and she never really connected in the way carlisle hoped, but esme and carlisle and even emmett got along so well with edward. rosalie talks about how esme loves edward more than the rest of them and everyone knows the respect and care edward and carlisle have for each other and rosalie says that emmett is like moping in loneliness and misses edward so much. rosalie reflects on how she didn’t even think alice would hurry to save her if it was her in bella’s place and alice is supposed to have served as rosalies sister for years. rosalie’s human life was led by this intense need to be wanted. she was letting herself and her human family down if she wasn’t wanted. rosalie just desperately wants to be wanted. like carlisle wanted her, he saved her and he kept wanting her even when she begged him to kill her as she turned and when she resented him and was angry. and emmett wanted her in the same ways edward wants bella. but the rest of the cullens? you don’t see them so easily wanting her (no hate to them like i love the cullens but like) but here comes bella and everyone besides rose and jasper so desperately like wants to keep her safe and even then jasper does when he knows alice wants bella. rosalie wants bella too in the way that it makes edward happy and it makes her family function but rosalie doesn’t really understand how bella is so easily wanted when she doesn’t even try but rosalies entire life has been her trying to be wanted.

i genuinely just feel for rosalie because though i’m more like bella or even alice, i understand rosalies desire to just have a functioning family and be wanted. it’s not really jealousy though rosalie herself writes it off as that, it’s just a desire? rosalie, though a vampire, is the most human of them all in her core because she just so desperately desires approval and being wanted. the rest want to help but most don’t care what others think of them but rosalie needs to be the best and perfect and wanted, otherwise her entire like balance of life.

she and bella should’ve bonded more because like before forks, bella didn’t entirely know being wanted. like she didn’t really have any guys after her before and renée was constantly saying “oh i don’t regret having you.” but following it up with reasons she regretted being with charlie. like renée always proved she wanted bella but it was after she had actions or words that contradicted her want of bella. and suddenly bella is thrust into this world where all she is is wanted and bella’s shy!! she doesn’t want the attention, she doesn’t want anything coming to forks but to live out her final two years of high school and be there for her dad. later she wants edward and that’s something rosalie “carried bleeding emmett for miles so she could have this measly human boy who reminded her of her past best friends son” hale could relate to. they’re so similar yet so different and it angers me that they weren’t written as proper foil characters?? like give me bella who doesn’t want to be wanted and rosalie who needs to be wanted. rosalie who is everything bella wants to be (a vampire, living forever with her love) and give me bella who is everything rosalie wants to be (unconditionally wanted, a human).
