my personal ranking and why
king of greed - it was such a good book. I loved that one of the main focuses wasn't just the romance but also Alessandra discovering herself and who she was without the people constantly surrounding her, I liked that it focused on her story as a person and her growth which I LOVED. I also loved Dominic's story, when it talked about how because of everything he'd been through growing up, he needed to constantly prove himself, to do something to show that he was truly the king of Wall Street, and how he did genuinely change for her sake, because he loved her.
king of wrath - I feel like this one is most people's fav, and it was a close tie but I liked king of greed more, but I ADORED this book. I loved how well the tension and yearning was written, I loved that she didnt make the spice the focus, or the attraction but a big focus was that they were two people that struggled with vulnrability (thats probably now how u spell it) and they're being vulnerable with each other, she makes Dante lose control, making him less of an asshole and he shows her its ok to hold a certain amount of self worth, and she wrote that really well
king of envy - I really liked this book, mainly because of ayana. she is INCREDIBLE and so unbelievably strong, I want to be her when I grow up. she takes everything thrown in her way amazingly, she's such a sweetheart to everyone around her, even those who dont deserve it, but she also holds her own. I also enjoyed that it was an accurate representation of the modelling world. Ayana had been forced into it to keep food on the table for her family, and the agency she was with was horrible to their girls. it is quite accurate according to what I've heard. I also just like, love vuk. he's such a well written character because he's such a different person when he's alone and when he's with people. read the book and you'll find out what I mean.
king of pride - it was a good book and I liked the characters, it was just a tad bit slow for me, but Isabella is me and I am her and KAI IS BRITISH YALL. I also like that Isabella had writers block and was pressured by her family because thats something I relate to, and kai. kai kai kai kai kai kai. also this book will ruin pride and predjudice for you.
king of sloth - it was a good book, the couple was nice but it was highkey quite boring in some parts, and the chemistry felt forced. but its good for people who enjoy books like that ig.
sorry if this was ass but pls read it 🥺 - me and maddy
