Hi! Do you believe that Louis is gonna participate in the twins’ show? Is it a good idea from the business perspective and image wise to do so? Like he sure has a team who would tell him that it’s a risky idea to be involved in it even if he wants to? ( especially knowing how frustrated his fans are rn and how bad are his numbers on all of the platforms. Realistically he didn’t gain any new fans since finf promo and aotv disaster and why would he do that)
Help me to understand his motive (besides being involved in more stunting and staying in the closet)
I really don’t think he’s gonna be a part of it. Maybe a special appearance to make sure ratings don’t drop or something? Like… I imagine putting him in the premiere would get people to tune in. But genuinely no one is gonna watch it. It’s not the Louis show, it’s gonna be the twins talking about… what, exactly?
And like, good on them. They’re making good money and people are liking their insta photos and buying their matching pyjamas, but… I just don’t see any substance there that they could make a whole show about? Like… is it just them name dropping louis and showing off their cute kids for 30-45min every episode? What kind of drama could they even create to get people to watch?
Because drama is what brings people in. The Kardashians have only done so well for themselves because they’re ridiculous and over the top and memes are made about them and people loooove to hate them. And people hate to love them. But it’s not a one size fits all formula. They’re an exception to the rule of reality tv about celebs who don’t… really do anything inspiring or interesting.
Lottie has done well for herself, and the book was a good idea. Granted, I would’ve preferred a louis tell all autobiography obviously, but she grew up on the road with her brother in the biggest boyband in the world and was always super close to him and had stuff to say, had stuff to write. The twins were, and I cannot stress this enough, kids.
Hell, they still are kids. They’re 21 for gods sake! They were 6 when 1d was formed, and 11 by the end of it. They didn’t have the same life experiences as Lottie did, and certainly wouldn’t remember it as well.
Anyway, I don’t know what on earth they’d talk about on their show that would keep folks engaged. It goes against Louis’ entire aesthetic and brand to participate in a reality show (although so does this current stunt so stranger things have happened), and isn’t beneficial for him at all, except for the satisfaction of helping his sisters get some views. The twins’ fans are Louis’ fans. So he’s not getting any new found fame from this. But there’s surely a lot to document…
