Twitter & Tumblr first-hand-account Ferguson coverage since 8/13

Since protests in Ferguson, MO have erupted in the wake of Mike Brown’s death, coverage has been a little… spotty. It’s hard to know who and what to believe as it’s such a complex and convoluted situation.

Social media has put media power in the hands of the people, giving them a voice and creating a PR nightmare for the powers that be in Ferguson. It’s worth noting that these first-hand accounts of the activities in Ferguson are not exclusive to people of color, active protestors, or even residents in general.
