It took me way too long to love myself and my body, I will not be having assholes making others feel bad for being bigger. My family made me awful about what I ate and how I looked, I will not be having that in this family!

Attempt to Scam

In the day and age of technology the ability to scam others has become so easy that a 8yo can catfish a lady and swindle her out of large quantities of money. It has been in my experience that most scams are rather easy to debunk. However, people are getting sneakier. For example the latest heist that didn't seem well for the culprit.

A few weeks back I was contacted Via Twitter DM by a supposed celebrity. Yes, I do fallow that person on Twitter and yes the pure shock of the thing kinda blew me away. The question was WHY IN THE HELL would they contact me? I have a whopping 60 fallowers on Twitter and have zero pull in Hollywood.

But Reign why didn't you check to see if they are verified?

Oh I did. The DM that I got when I clicked on the profile linked back to the profile that had the little blue check mark.

Ok? Still totally fucking confused.

Said celebrity let's just call him Bob for lack of a more generic name messaged me and said he was happy I was a fan and that I was supportive. Yada yada yada ( yes I just showed my age there)

A few hours of BS talking like " when did you become a fan? What was your favorite movie of mine?"

Kinda felt like Bob was trying to inflate his ego but whatever.

He asks me if I have Google Hangouts.

I didn't. Hell I barly know what Twitter is.

I download the app, but smart on my case get a brand new email that isn't attached to any of my social media accounts or have anything personal on it.

Send it to Bob and we chat.

Not more then about an hour into talking to Bob he asks me if I am a giving person, in what terms I pondered.

Bob then asks if I would donate to his new charity. The real Bob is notorious for doing alot with charity so this isn't super weird.

However, when I ask what the cause is he gives me the run around.

Tells me it's for a Orphanage in Nigeria.

Umm ok? What's the name of it I inquired.

Bob tells me it's just up and running and they don't have all the in's and out's of it figured out.

Time passes a s he starts telling me I'm not like other girls and that he likes me.

Meanwhile, the Real Bob has an on again off again girlfriend and last TMZ said they where back on.

A few days later he asks me again if I'm going to donate. I told him if there was a way I would but it didn't seem like it was completely set up yet.

This is where it gets even weirder- as if this whole thing isn't weird already.

Bob tells me that he's disappointed that I haven't done what I said I would and that he really wanted me to help with his cause.

He then tells me that there is a Western Union set up with his partners information in Nigeria to help out.

Umm. No. Sorry darlin not that dumb.

I tell him we don't have money services where I'm at, which is partly true, they just happen to be 300 miles away in the closest town.

The next day hea back to the "good morning beautiful" messages and how much he has fallen in love with me and can't wait to meet me.

Dude is laying it on THICK!

He doesn't talk about the money for about 3 days and our conversations are pretty boring and I kept them that way so that there was nothing personal given out.

And then the bomb hits.

Day 8 of us chatting on Hangouts he tells me that I need to open up a blank bank account so he can then deposit money into the account so that I can then use that money to donate to his cause.

Shady.as.fuck.

Again I tell him that I can't and I stall again to see if he's gonna blow up again. And he does.

Bob then tells me I was a waste of his time and that he wished he never reached out to me because " I Was a FRAUD!"

Me? A fraud?

Um how fucking dumb do you think I am? I may look young but seriously I'm not as dumb and desperate as you think I am.

I had even asked him things that He should of known based off of "his IG /Twitter" posts. And he couldn't even acknowledge that those things happened or not.

So long story short. If infact The Real Bob had reached out and talked to me. I have Lost All Respect for him, which sux cuz he was on my Top 10 list.

However, if it was a hacker that got into his account, I hope he realized I already forwarded information to the authorities and I hope he has a good lawyer.
