Artists Notes: 

It took me two attempts but I managed to put something together. I tried to combine a few things I see you blog about but got a little stuck with fallout and those cool aesthetic posts you make. I hope this successfully captures that idea. 

I was so worried about this being too boring that I sort of went overboard with the first attempt. However, it just ended up so busy so I tried to pull some of the key elements when doing the second attempt. I also attempted to model the creatures face after your own face since it was human like anyway, another thing I tried was to make the character as nonbinary as possible.

Also, Najarin, feel free to ask if you want the full colour pallet or even if you want to see the original or anything.

German Axe of Justice

Sharing the shape of the axe used by the executioner in medieval times, this axe would have been used for cutting off smaller appendages. The German Axe of Justice is based off a weapon dating from 16th century Germany. The darkened blade features an angled cutting edge with an integral conical ferrule. Engraved on one side of the hand-forged axe is a crowned hand and the words SGODES HELPE MEI, translated God Help Me, along with the mark of the armorer. The other side of the executioner axe displays a cross bearing INRI and the date 1548. All engravings on this historical axe are gold filled for a regal look. The hardwood shaft of the justice axe is stained black, and the end cap emulates the ferrule with a brown and ornate cap.
