An Empire of Uncontrollable Power

This purple shirt (which looks slightly more blue in the photo than it does in real life) comes from Dressmann. It’s 100% cotton. In fact, “TWO-PLY EGYPTIAN COTTON” according to the label. I really don’t know what that means. I’d rate the ironing difficulty “medium plus”. It took me about 13 minutes to iron. Unlike many of my shirts, this one has the extra holes required for wearing cuff links, as seen in this photo.
Yes, I’m wearing a purple shirt the day after Prince died, and it’s no accident. But honestly, I wear purple frequently anyway.
I’m not a listener I’m not a fan I am something that you’ll never understand Don’t care for t-shirts Don’t wear no tie I’m turning on the steam and you’re the reason why ‘Cuz U — I would iron for U — yeah
Finally finished with this, and I love it!
When my husband walks out of the bathroom and says, "That two-ply toilet paper is luxurious," it becomes perfectly clear how tight finances can be as newly-weds. Good grief. At least we don't lack on the humor front.
