From her time as a werewolf in Eichen, Callie has mastered the sense of smell in regards to Chemosignals. Having picked up that different patients could smell similar in similar circumstances, shes learnt each scent.

Nogitsune. That’s what Phoenix had told Tate was the cause of his High school Shoot out. ‘You’re lucky you even got away’ She’d said, he hadn’t even remembered going to or leaving school that day but it was all over the news when he’d come to and there were SWAT cars outside his home. He’d hidden and waited, and eventually they’d left. 

Now he found himself driving down the motorway towards a place called Beacon Hills. ‘One of the witches I know said there was one who surfaced recently there, whoever that was got rid of it and could probably help you.’ Was all the advise the Witch had given him since she had no idea about Japanese Demons.   And so here he was, pulling into the turn off for Beacon Hills with only a name Stiles Stilinski. 

Once he’d arrived he figured the sherif station would be his best bet to find this guy.       “Hi uh, I was wondering if someone called Stiles still lives in this town?” He asked the man who sat at reception. The guy gave him an odd look then pointed to a kid who looked his age, sitting outside the sherif’s office.        “Are you Stiles?” He asked as he approached cautiously.

@ofbxnshee Phoenix looked over at the girl. She may not know everything yet, but banshees were magical, there powers not too disimilar from that of a witch. It's why she's here, for Lydia. "Hey, Lydia right? I'm Phoenix...how are you?" It was an odd first question, but the young woman seemed on edge. She was listening, just not to Phoenix. The witch set a hand on the girl's shoulder and eased the magic so Lydia could hear her. "I can help you." She said once the other seemed to focus.

CALLIE | TW | Headcannon

So since Callie was taken into an asylum in the 60′s in her canon verse and given lots of LSD. I think it’s entirely plausible she escaped in say 1968 and was bitten then. But due to the condition of her brain after years of exposure to LSD, she often forgets she was ever turned. On full moons she sometimes freaks out, and this is why she was taken into Eichen house (from which she escaped also).

“Fucking Jesus!” Peter yelled as he recoiled from the door laced with Wolfsbane. The witch was smart, probably had mountain ash waiting somewhere to trap him here no doubt.       “Hey! I’m here! What do you want?!” He yelled towards an open window upstairs.

Tate looked around the school and felt a shiver down his spine, it was still too soon. Turning to leave he crashed into someone else and swore.      “Fuck! I’m sorry, you alright?” He asked helping her up.

Trapped | Peter & Stiles

“—Don’t really want to.” Stiles muttered, sliding away from his side of the vent as he fought the urge to vomit. Honestly, Peter Hale was the last person he wanted to hear. Especially while being used as a lab rat from some creepy…creepers that put the doctor to shame. “Shouldn’t you be in the pits of Eichen?” Why he continued the conversation, he didn’t know. Morbid curiosity?

“Hope they neutered you…” He muttered under his breath, forgetting he could probably be heard. With the hopes that Peter would grow bored, Stiles let his eyes close and his body slump to the floor. Teetering between an exhausted slumber and another night of insomnia.

Peter let out a low aww under his breath before shaking his head,       “Come on Stilinski, you should know by now it’s harder than that to kill me.” He almost purred, speaking affectionately to the child just to wind him up that much more. He didn’t like Stiles, it wasn’t a secret. But the reason was, they were alike. The sarcasm, the way they thought, when they’d plotted against the Alpha Pack in Derek’s apartment Peter had noticed Stiles beating him to the punch on more then one occasion, with the exact same idea. It frustrated him.      “Nuetered? I would be so lucky.” He said his hand touching his gut where the surgeons had tried rearranging things just to see if healing would still work. It had. But not without weeks of pain.       “I’ve been here for months now. How did they even get you?” He asked not caring for the slowing of Stile’s heartbeat as he tried to sleep.
