Ty... Zane... ♥
Ty and Zane. Compass and anchor. Two halves of a whole. #Cutandrun #tyandzane
Cover Reveal!!!
Ok, you guys know that I LOVE Ty and Zane, from abiroux’s Cut and Run series. Obviously, since I put a tattoo on my body from the series. It’s the first time I’d ever read a gay romance novel, period, but it was also the first time I’d seen a relationship like mine in print, front and center.
Luke and I have a fantastic relationship, we do. But we’re not sweet and sappy (well, he’s not, anyway). We communicate through geek code, quotes, and sarcasm. We always take care not to let each other’s head get too big, but still be loving. Ty and Zane don’t communicate exactly the same way, but it’s close, and it was a revelation. Plus, the sex is FUCKING HOT.
So, the Cut and Run series opened my eyes to a whole world I didn’t know was there before. I’ve read m/m fantasy, m/m sci-fi, some good, some REALLY BAD. I’ve read series that are pure romance, like Shira Anthony’s Blue Notes series, that have swept me away and made me cry from how beautiful they are. The Tucker Springs novels by Riptide Publishing were some of my favorites, but they stopped publishing them. *evil eyes*
All of these that I’ve read are great. They truly are, and I wholeheartedly recommend them.
At the beginning of my m/m readership, I stumbled onto a period romance novel, set in the Prohibition era, and it was by an author named Charlie Cochet. I loved it. I devoured that novel. I even read it out loud to my dyslexic husband (and that was FUN, let me tell you *waggles eyebrows*). I was so excited when one of my friends recommended another series that she wrote, the THIRDS series. I was a little nervous, because she told me that there were shifters (like werewolves) in the books, and I read one really skeezy shifter romance once where they had sex while the dude was a wolf and I’m not doing that again. “Trust me,” Jen said. So I bought the first book and took the plunge.
I read the damn thing in one day.
Then I read the second one the next day.
And the third one the day after that.
And then I was out of THIRDS books. I got so swept away by this series, became totally obsessed with it, almost as much as I am with the Ty and Zane books. The author has playlists on her website. I bought the whole playlist for the first book. Desktop wallpapers? Why yes, I’d like that on my computer.
Now, the author has asked for my help spreading the word about the new book coming out (I think in February or March), so stay tuned to this space for the cover reveal. It happens January 2, my birthday.
So Excited!
I just received “Ball & Chain” in the mail yesterday!!!! I’m so excited and I can’t wait to crack it open!!!! Thank you Abigail Roux!
