Week 7 Graphics II
This week we were assigned to read chapter 6: The typographic message. Reading this chapter is going to help me once I start customizing my typeface for the new Type Zine project. this chapter does a great job at explaining and showing how you can modify your text but still get your message across properly. I also was able to look at all of the pictures to use as inspiration. pages 115 and 116 were two of my favorite pages since they had many interesting examples and variations of the same text to show how you can change your typeface.
This week we turned in our National park posters and made a test postcard to make sure we are good to order at least 22. I was so excited to see all of the posters hanging up next to each other since I know so many people put in tons of effort into their poster. Overall I am happy with my design but still kind of wish I had something that stood out. This project and some projects that i’ve been working on with customers have thought me that sometimes I don't need to keep adding things even when I feel like I should.
