okay, so, not that i've written anything lately, but i couldn't ignore that i was tagged by @rellanas to chit chat about... 5 things you might find in a ~suntamer story:

the usage of architecture, clothing, food, and light / darkness as characters in the narrative.

physicality. characters who stumble through their story rather than floating through it without touching anything.

obsession.

familial trauma. heavy on the familial, heavy on the trauma.

you can't call someone a villain apologist if they're not apologizing for anything.

21. what are the most important facets of creating a character, to you?

ooh i was hoping someone would ask this i love talking about character creation!! this might be a bit of a hot take but as fun as knowing what your characters favorite color is... it really doesn’t matter. if you know what they want and how much they’re willing to lose (or what they’re willing to do) to get it, you’ve made a solid character!! i usually decide that even before i name characters lol

19. do you plan out your projects? if yes, to what level? how well do you stick to your plans?

i do!! i think this is called the snowflake method...? but im not entirely sure lol ANYWAY i separate the plot into three parts and write a lil paragraph for each, then i separate each part into three smaller arcs! usually each main part will involve a subplot and something related to the main plot. as for sticking to it... um i try my best :-)

23. what do you do to engage with your projects which isn’t actually writing? ex: playlists, pinterest boards, etc. how much do they play a role in the development of your work?

playlists and pinterest!! i usually don’t create character specific playlists BUT i do for my wips! any songs that remind me of them get thrown in there :D they usually don’t play a huge role but when i’m bored i like to scroll through my boards/listen to the playlists heehee
