I have discovered and fallen in love with Yammer: the enterprise social network. It´s like very user-friendly and clean facebook for business. To register you probably need your own domain (Yammer doesn´t like "gmail", "gmx" etc. If you lead a firm with employees or an association (which is my case) - it can be a powerful tool for communication inside of it. If outside also - it stays an open question for me.

Literature about how to design "visible" website: "Don´t make me think" by Steve Krug and "The user is always right..." by Steven Mulder & Ziv Yaar.

Biggest discovery: the visitors on our webpage start very seldom from our homepage - they are driven by the Internet powers and are dropped in the middle of something. The golden rule is to give them clear navigation, no matter where they are.
