There was a brutalist almost military feel to these relief stenciled street numbers in the village. When I took this in August 2016 the former occupant, French restaurant Di Fiore Marquet, had already closed for good and new owners/tenants, farm to table restaurant Villanelle, didn’t keep this little delight when they reconstructed the ramp it was on. Which I was sad to see but I’m sure there were accessibility or aesthetic consistency reasons.
