The day began anew. Nothing special, routine phone calls being directed with the occasional rude caller. A quaint lunch led into the second half of the day which always tends to feel more mundane than the first. As though lunch was just a teaser of the freedom one could be experiencing only to rip it away and return them to reality. Nevertheless, Tori sat at her desk and carried on as always. Looking up from her computer, she noticed a shadow forming near the door and anticipated a person coming in. Unfortunately, to her slight dismay, it was aggressively pessimistic guy from last week. Suddenly the conversation from last week rushed back to her and the weirdness became overwhelming. As her brain began doing some mental gymnastics to try to prepare for the interaction, a single phrase broke through her wall of internal conflict: "Hello, gorgeous!" The gears ceased. Blood rose. What had he said? Tori looked away, trying to hide her blushing cheeks, but aggressively pessimistic guy from last week saw right through her. He gazed at her, into her heart and soul. Blood continued to rise - it wouldn't stop. Her feet became cold followed by her legs, like ice. It was becoming hard to breathe. Blood rose and rose into her face, into her eyes. Everything felt heavy and dizzy. His eyes still locked with hers, her nose began to bleed...then her ears filled up with blood. So much blood, too much blood. With a flirtatious wink, aggressively pessimistic guy from last week sealed his next victim in a bloody death. Ear wax killer's associate bloody ear killer had struck again.
