Okay so like I know Thranduil banished Tauriel, but wasn't he doing her a solid in a weird way? He cleared up half her problems with why she couldn't be with Kili but like it backfired and Legolas went with her. And as someone who lost who they loved (elf love is complicated and sad) I feel like he was also trying to keep Tautiel from getting hurt when he told her what she felt wasn't really love, so maybe she could turn back before it was too late??? I don't know man I just feel like Thranduil got such a raw deal cause everyone on middle earth thinks he's a grade a ice king who doesn't love anyone but like no he clearly loves Legolas a lot, like a lot a lot- because without Legolas to love, he would have faded away centuries ago without his other half (Legolas' mum). And if I'm not mistaken, Thranduil goes into the east not long after events in the Hobbit and it makes sense since the reason he stayed in middle earth explicitly told him he was leaving and not coming back. Also, POOR MOOSE-ELK THING OMG.

I mean seriously! There is MORE to life than making sex or being attracted/not attracted to someone! There's science and it's many amazing facets, books and all the worlds and times you can explore within their pages, Aliens, comets, stars and other planets in Outer Space, history and its many miracles and mysteries, countless varieties of bugs, birds, fish and other remarkable animals, and more! Just look around and you'll find them!
If you have an issue with that, go take it up with your psychologist. Because honestly, if you can't find anything else besides sex to be interested in, then you need 1 of 3 things - a life, a therapist or a boot to the head.

I kind of hate how our society has made the 'idealistic beauty' mean ugly, trying to make people who don't fit it feel better? Idk, people demonize people who fit the description of a cheerleader. Blonde, blue eyes, kind of thin. And people call me fake for looking this way, but I was born looking like this. I didn't choose to look 'fake.' I'm sorry I don't look interesting or original, but don't assume I'm a carbon copy because I look like one to you. Sorry for the rant this is just one of my pet peeves!
