Tzapo is a fiend for rice. He didn't notice the grain left on his nose
He! Has! A Lambchop!
He is gone but he had such a happy day leading up to it. He wasn't in pain, just exhausted and ready to sleep but still happy.
Tzapo was truly such a good good boy and managed to get so much love from so many different people. He did so many things and his life was so big. He saw the redwoods and got to go to a bison ranch. He got to see and smell all the horses at the Kentucky Horse Farm. He loved watching horses gallop. He got to go to wildlife centers and zoos, including the National Zoo in DC, and get to scent so many animals he'd never otherwise get to experience. He stayed in hostels and hiked in several states. He went into caverns with me and he got to cross fields of lava rock in Eastern Oregon, which he was so brave and excited to do. He has had a good life and been the best friend to me. I'm so glad I could give him an end where he was still so happy and able to do his favorite things without pain or confusion. He was the best service dog and friend I could have ever asked for. And now he can rest and be comfortable forever.

Have to get the car inspected because NC requires yearly inspections. Dog in the shop came up to Tzapo who was giving perfectly polite body language of gentle greeting since dog got in his face and I gave him a nod. And the dog tries to fucking bite him 😞
Tzapo just looks at me like "but I'm baby?" As I interrupted the bite attempt. He's so good.
Shop people didn't see and the dog is now holed up so I'm not saying anything because I just want to get out of here.

Tzapo and I took a two mile walk at a nearby lake yesterday. He really likes walking there and I of course had to get some obligatory photos on a stump and a log.
