I’m not sure if it’s genes per se, but how’s your parents’ coloring? Mosquitoes seem to like blond(e)s and people who were blond(e) as kids, redheads, and generally people who are glow-in-the dark.

They're both pretty pale. They both have blue eyes and my dad was a blonde and my mom had dark red hair when they were younger. I'm definitely paler than than they are, but they aren't "swarthy" by any means. They aren't pink like I am though. Maybe that's what it is? Either way, I'M SO ITCHY1! *wah*

I've never felt the need to kill another living creature so much in my life.

I'm sure that this happens to non-adopted kids too, but neither of my parents get mosquito bites AT ALL so it was a constant "argument" growing up in AZ to tell them that 1. I needed afterbite or something, 2. yes, there really are mosquitos in the Sonoran Desert, and 3. hey, guys, you remember how we aren't actually biologically related, right?

I’m a pretty flirty person when I’m hanging out one-on-one, but really shy when I’m with a group, especially if I don’t know some of the people. I find most things amusing and try to think of the silver lining in things. This is when I’m not cycling through depression though, then I have low self-esteem and think everything in my life sucks.

6. is it hard for you to get over someone?

It has been. My college boyfriend fucked me over royally and I’m only in the last year or so gotten to the point where I’ve even considered being able to date anyone.

lol... Yeah, that has happened to me before. Not on my jeans, but bookbags, etc. I have become an expert zipper fixer.

I've definitely done it with other things, but it's the first time it's happened with a pair of jeans. I can usually fix it, but there's a weird catch thing that I don't know what to do with. I'm not handy with a needle and thread like you are. ;)
