Logan: What’s the matter? Why an emergency meeting?
Virgil: A few seconds ago Thomas got into a very stressful situation but he stayed calm and resolved it in a sensible way.
Remus: It was soo boring.

Those scenes where one person backs another one up on a wall to threaten them but then notices the other one is turned on by this? Exude pure remrom energy to me.
@pumpkinpadparadscha’s hickey/ask sparked some ideas for my remrom au where Roman and Remus are fake/dating remy. So I wrote down some loose ideas for the shenanigans the three are up to.

- Remy refuses to take Roman to the cinema to watch the same Disney Movie for the sixth time and Roman drapes himself dramatically across the table at the bar and announces loudly: “You don’t really love me. You’re just together with me because of my coffee machine.”
- Their friends laugh at his antics but you know, technically, completely true.
- Roman and Remus are sometimes worried about Remy's coffee consumption and carefully suggest a reduction in caffeine intake. He just lookes at them coldly and says, "I'm leaving. And I’m taking the coffee machine with me.”
- They start having fun with matching outfits. Remy starts matching his clothes with the one that he has “dating day”. Then he starts to coordinate his clothes with the other brother, not the one he is currently on a date on. Something that can only be observed if you meet all three that day and that really confuses their friends after they notice it. Later, Roman and Remus start to wear matching outfits and at this point everyone just thinks the three are messing around with them which, yeah, they are, but Roman and Remus are also really happy to be able to do this.
- They love to go out together, all three of them, because no one lifts an eyebrow if Roman goes up on the stage at the karaoke bar and sings mushy love songs while looking at their table or when Remus proclaims his undying love while he wildly gesticulates in the direction of the other two.
- Remy recites love songs out of nowhere and everyone finds it cute while Roman and Remus have to control themselves not to facepalm because they know he’s waxing poetry about the coffee machine.
- A few months into the agreement and Remy seemes down. His friends try to get him to tell them what is bothering him but he just mumbles that “He’s ruined now” and “I can’t go back to the way it was before”. They think he has relationship problems but he actually mourns the fact that not even his favorite coffee from his favorite little coffee shop tastes good anymore, now that he experienced heaven.
- He corners the twins. “I want a marriage settlement! Custody of the coffee maker in case of a break up.”
- Unfortunately, tragedy strikes, always, and hard. One day, one fateful day, it’s… it’s almost impossible to mention; the… the coffee machine… malfunctioned. They have to call a technician and he takes the machine away for repairs.
- It takes 5 days. 5 long and dark days. Remy refuses to drink any coffee because it feels like cheating. He goes through a massive withdrawal… and then has a big caffeine shock after the coffee maker is back.
Remrom ist that one „would you fuck your clone?” post and the answer is “I'm basically already doing it.”

If you think about it, the only difference between Roman and Remus in regards of their function is Thomas reaction.
Like, everyone equates intrusive thoughts with the typical horrible stuff.
But if someone connects stuff like unicorns and glittery happy endings with bad experiences then those thoughts would be unwelcome, upsetting or distressing.
Roman could easily be the “intrusive thoughts” creativity in different circumstances.
