New York: The reaction of the United Nations has come to the fore in the case of slitting the throat of a person on charges of blasphemy in Udaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The United Nations has called for respect for all religions by condemning the Udaipur massacre. Udaipur-based tailor Kanhaiya Lal, who posted Nupur's picture on social media, was strangled to death following a statement by Nupur Sharma, former spokesperson of India's ruling party Bharatiya Janata Party.
