What a fight. Shouts to Spencer for taking a beating for 3 rounds and still came forward. Even managed to cut Cyborg, something almost no other 145er has ever done.

Haven’t really talked about UFC 240 because it’s bad but it’s a Max card and I’m always up for that. So some quick thoughts.

Max will eventually move up to LW and do well. Also, he’s probably gonna beat the crap out of Edgar. Als

Curious if Cyborg destroying Spencer ices the UFC’s slow growth of the 145lb division.

Niko Price is a heavyweight in a 170lber’s body. And that comes with all the strengths and limitations.

Pantoja-Figs and Araujo-Davis are the only other fights I’m looking forward to

Max Holloway takes decision over Frankie Edgar

Max does the damn thing and puts a prolonged whooping on Edgar. Great use of the jab, did really well picking Edgar off when he tried to slide left and cracked Edgar a whole bunch as he dipped down with those uppercuts.

So for as much shit as I gave Joe, I will say I’m not enthused by the performance. I’m thinking he got back too quick from the Poirier fight. He did look off, a bit more sluggish. I’m just hoping he was being cautious after his war with Poirier and it’s not the wars catching up to him.
