Gotta Get Thru This is the debut album of English-New Zealand singer Daniel Bedingfield. The album was released in 2002, spawning six singles to promote the album which includes his smash hits: “Gotta Get Thru This” and “If You’re Not The One”. The album peaked #2 in the UK (where it reached 5-time platinum status), and Scotland. The album made a lukewarm impact on the US album charts, reaching #41.

Weekly Review: 1Forty - Funky & Garage

Hold onto your butts for this one, 1Forty coming out blasting with a 3-track free compilation to close out a great year.  Featuring the likes of GHSTGHSTGHST in a nasty bass driven UK Funky tip with Supreme providing the encouragement on the vocals, as well as J69 with a massive groove in his "Wanna Say," featuring bass synths that add mad swing to an already danceable rhythm section and some really unique mallets providing the melody.  One of our favourites of the compilation is man like Witchdoctor with a HUGE speed garage tune that also features wonderful contrasting soft pads in a surprisingly smooth breakdown, giving you a moment to breathe before hitting you back with that heavy garage vibe.  Did I mention all of these are for FREE???
