I wrote another part to this story here (an intermediate chapter?)
This time in the point of view of our favorite Heroine. Enjoy..!
The crowd moved toward her like a multi-headed beast. The mass entanglement of limbs and feet crept at a snail’s pace from the safety of their home and slithered into the street, worried and cautious despite the cold. ‘That poor young man!’ ‘What happened?’ ‘Was he hit? Did he faint?’ ‘What did you do?’ Their words wrapped around her, trapping the woman in a grip silent panic.
She didn’t recognize anyone. Faces of neighbors and classmates melted together and appeared to be the same; dark masks without details–no nose, lips, or eyes. They surrounded her, enclosing her in a space that felt too small to even breath.
‘Don’t panic!’ Orion told her despite the fear in his eyes. He shared her anxiety and the guilt she felt inside.
Someone called the paramedics, she stayed until they arrived.
He knew her. He was the first person she met that day who knew her…and she nearly killed him! She could have screamed but her apprehension quelled her tongue so she tried to force her mind into overdrive. She knew there were no memories–only a spirit boy to cheer her on but there was something:
A feeling she couldn’t identify.
The poor boy left his umbrella in the middle of the street–it was her excuse to visit every day for nearly a week. She needed to know him.
Eventually she found her friends, her ‘brother,’ her job, and her school. But he didn’t seem to fit into the life she patched for herself. He tore it by the seams. No matter how hard she tried, it seemed, she couldn’t trigger any memories.
She hoped he’d provide more insight after waking–but it seemed he only proved to complicate things…
So. I was thinking about Ukyo on the train today and suddenly.....I wrote a thing.
There was a storm on the horizon: thick, dark clouds rose above the buildings, bringing sharp winds and unrelenting frostbite to the city. The rain was promised but the storm would pass, it would be warm again by morning–or as warm as this coming August could be. Would he live to see it? That was the question that left him burning.
It was only the first day of august, but even then he didn’t have much time. This wasn’t his world; He didn’t belong here.
With his luck he’d freeze to death, or be struck–again–by lightning. He really didn't want to be struck–again–by lightening.
Everyone scattered; emptying the street, all afraid of the sudden, unpredicted rain and what it might mean. After all, he thought, it was supposed to be sunny.
Like a body, every world had a different method of expelling disease: Some preferred accidents that would kill the germ precisely--crashes, fires, falling of buildings--others overdid themselves, blinding destroying everyone and anything to create a mass-tragedy--violent storms, sudden blizzards or maybe even flooding.
It seems he brought this storm here. This world, wherever it was, was headed toward a tragedy.
Okay nope, I did not just break down and buy two more UkyoxHeroine doujinshi. I definitely didn't do that.
And I definitely haven't lost count of all my Amnesia (all UkyoxHeroine, BTW) doujin either.
Oh yeah, as a side note, I was wrong about the tea-spilling thing I mentioned in the first post about that R18 doujin. He just dropped his cup. She only wanted to take a shower without any prompting from him or his actions.
T-that doujinshi...
The 'R18' rating was no joke. ^^;
And all because Ukyo spilled tea on her dress.
Ukyo/Heroine, they are in highschool, Ukyo is in his third year and the heroine is in her second year and they are in the tennis club together.
”Senpai,” she softly calls out to him as he steps off the tennis court – racket carefully lowered to his side. She can hardly breathe when their eyes meet and he changes his direction and walks toward her with purpose.
”Good afternoon,” he greets her with a smile, awkwardly brushing away a bead of perspiration from his forehead before it falls into his right eye.
Too preoccupied with her own butterflies, she doesn’t notice the way he is looking at her, but at the same time, trying not to stare at her.
”You looked good out there,” she says, and then blushes. “P-practicing! You looked good out there practicing!” She has to fight the urge to cover her face and run away.
”Losing, you mean?” he asks with a gentle laugh. The young man is not unaware that he is probably one of the weakest members on the boys’ tennis team, but still, every time he sees her watching him from the sidelines, it fills him with confidence and he thinks that because of her, he plays just a little bit better each day.
”N-no, that’s not what I— Everyone— That is to say that—“ she stammers and stumbles over her words as she frantically searches for the right thing to say.
”There’s still some time before we have to go in for the day. Would you like to play a game against me?” And just like that, he saves her.
Her smile is bright and cheerful as she nods emphatically. “Should I go easy on you?” she hears herself saying, and she almost wants to stop breathing until she sees the determined look in his eyes.
”Definitely not!” he replies enthusiastically. “How can I get better if the best tennis player on the girls’ team goes easy on me?” Somehow, his hand has acted of its own accord and is softly clasping hers as he turns to lead her onto the court. It’s only when she makes a small noise of surprise that he realizes what he has done and then pulls back as if she is generating a million volts of electricity through her fingertips. “S-sorry!” he shouts, clutching his racket with both hands to prevent them from misbehaving any further. “I’m really very sorry!” He seems to be seconds away from throwing himself down on the ground at her feet.
Her face has taken on a lovely rosey hue as she smiles nervously up at him. Her hand feels naked after he recoils his hand from her touch, but she tries not to consider it a big loss. He called her “the best tennis player on the girls’ team” and it fills her with an overwhelming sensation of happiness. Even if it might not be true – though she is one of the top players – it still confirms one very important thing for her.
’Senpai noticed me!’
