If it's any consolation, it appears that the cat nun hysteria thing was a hoax. Main source for it is from a text trying to say how women's minds were inherently 'more excitable & prone to folly while living a life of celibacy'. Author's only source was "Trust me, I heard it from some medical book" with no other sources existing besides ones that cite that one. So hey, even ye olden days didn't have cat girls like that.

wait so not even the nuns got to meow???? that sucks so bad for them :( truly there is no space for our people in any part of history and i can only hope the future is brighter than the past and present.

What are you trying to get a PhD for? Whatever it is, just work hard and all that blah blah blah and you'll get it

I’m going for a PhD in sociology! Currently I’m an Undergrad getting a BA in Sociology/Anthropology with a minor in gender studies and theater. I’ve got a focus in Cultural Anthropology but I’ve realized I’m more of a sociologist, the kind of research I like to do is more sociological, and teaching jobs are easier to find  for sociology.

 I’ve still got a year of undergrad left and I’m currently planning on taking a gap year teaching English abroad before I dig into my graduate work.

I’m currently writing up some papers for my senior thesis as we speak actually, it’s going to become my dissertation in the future!

Sometimes there's just a character you hate for no discernible reason. Although now all I can think of is this as you and Ayato

no bestie that's so true. he's my least favorite png and the sense of discomfort and anger simply thinking about him brings me is both unparalleled and completely out of bounds considering how neutral i am about every other genshin character i even slightly dislike. if i ever saw him in real life i would boo and he would deserve it.
