Nuance within the A-rig
While throwing a rig with two hooks and three dummies, I observed smallmouth following a rig with two perch swimbaits. They would only bite when I changed to a rig with two shad-type baits.
Beaver Lake was on fire in March. I threw a rig with no blades and 5 swimbaits. In April, for the FLW National Championship, bladed A-rigs excelled across the board in comparison to non-bladed rigs.
