One of my best memories back in Rwanda 2018 since today is my first day posting in 2019. Video1: At the new year with Blaise at Golden Tulip in Nyamata performing one of my songs #Umubavu (not planned/prepared improv) Video2: Upon my visit to @agahozoshalom the village/school I call home and passing by the music CENTER heard some students doing their usual band rehearsals and guess what they were doing one of my ballad songs #Nostalgia and couldn’t just keep on going and had to ask them to redo the song with me on the keys(again not planned/prepared) Video3: I this was like after one day upon my arrival back in Kigali and Blaise invited me to go cheer him up with his live band and when I got there he was like let me invite Blameless on the stage and not knowing which song to sing or at least a little something, he was like please do #Umubavu and so we did it together (again not prepared/ improv) Video4: With my little sister (Her name is Brigitte FYI). Here’s the story. We rehearsed the song for like a minute or so and she was fine but then when someone started filming it, she looked down until the song was over and bailed on me comply. #Byasaze (at least this one wasn’t improvised like the others) Video5: @moyoni_ and I performing #Umubavu @wineandblankets @theivy.rw on December 30th in an #AcousticNightWithBlameless_Moyoni Video6: Upon the crowd’s request, I had to do #Nostalgia and this was again @theivy.rw @wineandblankets (Improvised - wasn’t part of the plan for the night) Video7: I also had to do #UrwoNgukunda / #CrazyInLove for everyone as the song in the meantime as I work on it in the studio (and y’all FYI it’s coming up real soon). One of the songs I’ve written based on a true story. I can’t wait for y’all to listen to it once it’s ready. This is it.
