While on this journey of self-love and discovery I am trying to carve out intentional spaces to reflect my spirit back to me. Reminders of who I am and what I value help me stay accountable to me.... This weekend I smudged and rearranged my vision/reminder board. This is where I post the love notes from my self/others, inspiring imagery, symbols of my identity and reminders of my goals. In the mists of extreme emotional and spiritual growth I turn to art as a place of healing, expression and clarity. Sometimes the universe sends you exactly what you need when you need it.... Those in my personal life understand how deeply rooted I am in my spiritual journey. While I don't understand all the pieces each branch has to offer me, I remain grounded in my connection with my creator and devine light within.... I'm learning to trust my self in the mists of all these changes. After months of sharing with my friend Aja about the tree of life she gave me this beauty for my 26th Birthday. As I become a women I have never been before, I pray this token of love carries the energy needed to keep me grounded and remind me that I am loved beyond measure by my friends and family (blood, soul, chosen). More then anything I pray this token of love continues to remind me how important self-love and self-care is to my spiritual growth.
