Why do you call him 'uncle mudz' ?

Lol oooh man…let’s see…how did that start..?

I remember the Gorillaz site, fandom, and himself had addressed him as Uncle Murdoc in the recent phase. I took it as a playful name to use from the fans who didn’t have a crush or any attraction to him..or maybe ‘cause he’s old and most of his fanbase is younger than him?

Part of it is admiration. Murdoc is my favorite out of the bunch because of his shock/crude humor. In some interviews, he’s actually smart and knows where he’s coming from. He, as well as the other characters, have depth. You should give his interviews a listen. They’re hilarious!

But. But! I never understood why people found him sexy or attractive; the MTV cribs episode with Murdoc was terrifying, haha! He’s just this old, ugly, green, drunkard that makes me laugh or lose my appetite. I anticipate his appearance on every Gorillaz video! Like one of those favorite uncles you wait for to crash boring parties and tell you stories while he’s drowning in alcohol poisoning. (Or to scold when he’s being an ass to people, like 2D). That’s Uncle Mudz!
