i think it applies more to books than tv/film (where characters are at least ambiguously in their 20s??) but like......... once you notice it it really is just a lot to think about. try finding an actually good book about people in their 20s. it’s like... so few?

i’m probably overemphasizing this problem and the main issue is just that a lot of fiction for adults just doesn’t state ages but also......... i do think i’m mildly onto something

at the very least i’m right about like... 50% of high school-aged/teen-aged media being better suited for actual adults.

my mind is honestly boggled by this tho.
