So, I found the Inko and Aizawa as siblings tag on Ao3 and so now I’ve got head canons for Sibling Inko/Shouta Procrastinating on other things? No, never! Perish the thought!;
Inko and Shouta are 11 years apart. Inko cried more than Shouta did when he was born.
She adored Shouta and would often dress him up like a doll. He never cared as long as he got to hold her cat plush.
When he was really, really little Shouta would follow Inko like a puppy. She thought this was so cute and would often embrace him while crying tears of joy much to his confusion.
Shouta would die ten times before admitting this, but he has a huge big sister complex, mostly because they were often left alone as their parents were always working.
Inko was really, really worried when he decided to become a hero, but supported him and made him lunches every day. Shouta always felt guilty eating the meals though as she would make really cute cat rice balls for him.
He lived with her instead of their parents through out his teen years.
Izuku’s father wasn’t around during the pregnancy (hell I’m not sure he’s real), so Shouta helped to pick up the slack and was a worry wart to the max.
No, don’t run on stairs, you’ll trip! No, don’t eat that it’s not healthy, don’t listen to that it’ll affect the baby’s brain
This didn’t help as it just made Inko worry more. Still, his heart was in the right place and he eventually calmed down.
When Izuku was born Shouta would hold him whenever Inko wasn’t.
He has a million pics of baby Izuku on his phone, but never shows them to anybody out of embarrassment. Hizashi steals his phones and shows them to everybody anyway.
After Oboro died though Shouta fell into a deep depression and pulled away from his sister and nephew for a long time. He wasn’t a stranger, but they weren’t exactly tight-knitted.
After he moved out their relationship was mostly phone calls and once a month visits.
He did always keep an eye on them from a distance and would always make sure the two were safe.
Inko will find him once in awhile sleeping on the side of the road and is worried that he’s homeless and will try to drag him home despite his assurances that he is NOT homeless.
When Izuku discovered he was quirkless he felt a great deal of pity for the boy and tried to down play the hero life and steer him towards other ways to help. Izuku held to his dream of being a hero though.
Because of his limited time with Izuku and being caught up with his work he sadly never noticed that Izuku was being bullied.
When he saw Izuku during the entrance exam he was shocked, even more so when he saw Izuku using a quirk for the first time. WTF?! When did that happen?! How?
He immediately calls his sister about this, but she’s as shocked as he is—more so!
He comes by later that day and tries to talk to Izuku about it, but Izuku dodges the question.
He tries to talk Izuku out of going to UA. It’s not that he doesn’t believe in him, it’s just that he couldn’t bear to lose Izuku the way he lost Oboro.
Izuku holds firm to his ambitions and Inko confronts him later, stating that she’s worried too as she was with him, but he’s just as determined as his uncle to follow his dreams. She regrets that she didn’t support him before, but she plans to going forward and hopes Shouta will too.
Shouta does just this after he passes Shouta’s test.
Shouta is three times more suspicious of All Might here; why is the #1 hero so interested in Izuku? Why does Izuku have a quirk like him? They’re spending a whole lot of time together. What’s the secret here?
All Might nearly has a heart attack when he discovers Aizawa is Izuku’s uncle.
Everytime Izuku hurts himself Shouta just glares at All Might with a look that says, “I know this is your fault and when I can prove it, you’re dead!” Pray for All Might, folks. This is not an easy AU for him.
Oh, you can bet he scolded Izuku for going after Bakugou. Three hour lecture, only paused for supper, then continued for another 4 hours before bed an a promise of detention till he graduates. (This doesn’t actually happen, but he’s still upset for awhile.)
Shouta tries to act like he’s not protective of his big sister, but he super is.
One time she met him at school and another student made a comment about her and he elbowed the them in their throat.
Shouta was always scaring creeps away as Inko was naive to how cute she really was.
