Wasp investigating the contents of a billy

7) Who sneaks out to get a midnight snack?
Between Draxus and Fedralis: Draxus, before he died and all he used to be terrible about eating dinner so on days where he had to deal with bs he would get super hungry at night and just couldn’t help himself. The downside is he can’t cook so he can only eat stuff that is already made (Fedralis had started to put out snacks and things at night to help his boyfriend)
Between Tuganii and Lineaya: both, they both hate to walk across a cold floor alone at night so they always go together.
Between Rudaka, Undara, Toroka, and Urithion: Toroka, she actually sleep-eats more or less (and makes a mess of the pantry while she’s at it). The first time Urithion witnessed this he was so shook because he got up for some water, turned a corner and Toroka was on the floor, nomming with terrible hand-eye coordination on some bread (it’s always the bread with her).
Between Areaya and Jalar(the forgotten couple): In a perfect world, Jalar, see in a much happier world where they both got the chance to parent their daughters, Jalar would be the idiot dad who would see his kids sneaking to go get snacks and the join them. His logic would totally be “at least I can make them healthier food and make sure they don’t make a mess” instead of just stopping them.
I am low key excited because in my heart I KNOW this is my first ask not sent by an IRL friend ;-; Thank you so much for this!
The walls and the ceiling
(On my travels)
Lava tube, Undara. The ceiling is basalt shaped by lava as it flowed.
Stephenson's Cave
(On my travels)
Stephenson's Cave is part of the Undara Lava Tubes complex. It is home to several species of microbats, the smallest of which could fit comfortably into a teaspoon. There were, in fact, several hundred bats flitting around when I took these pictures, but the shutter speed was so slow that they don't even show up as streaks. There are so many bats here that several species of snakes hang from the trees outside and try to catch a bat, usually successfully. No snakes in this pic however as it's the equivalent of winter up here, so they're sleeping.
