HELLO MY CREATURE-FEATURES-FEATURING-THE-CREATURES!!!!! I wanted to give a more complete explanation on why I’m not continuing this in comic form and what my plans are going forward :)
SO the reason that this comic has been kind hard to make is that it is based on the game Elevator Hitch and was made as a spontaneous crossover. Elevator Hitch is a very cool game that I love, but it’s core gameplay of picking up objects and traveling between floors doesn’t translate very well into a comic, it leads to a lot of boring in-between pages (that I still have to spend time drawing).
Also, when I first started this comic, I changed big aspects of the game without really having a full plan of how I would carry them out. Bad! Not good!!! My biggest advice for starting out an interactive comic (or a normal comic, for that matter) is to map out all your options beforehand and have a rough idea what to do no matter what your audience picks! It’s totally fine to leave some of the story for you to decide when you actually get to that point (improv can be the most fun part!!!!), but in this case, I had no idea what I was going to do next and had to think of something for every new comic page (takes a lot of energy!!!!)
Also, I felt like running two interactive comics on the same blog was kinda confusing to readers, it’s harder to follow the storyline if you have to keep switching between the two every few days. Also, drawing a comic page every other day is!!! exhausting!!!!! and I feel like I wasn’t able to give you guys my best work or grow as an artist cuz I was always rushed for time.
To be clear: STP x UTMV will be continuing!!!!!!!! STP gameplay translates very well into an interactive comic plus I planned out most of the story a while ago, so it’s much more fun and easy to draw!!! Instead of every other day, tho, pages will be released every Monday and Friday at 7am EST!!!

This AU is also not being abandoned!!!!!! It is being remade!!!!!! as an RPG!!!!!!!!! Updates about that will be on @undercast-official (tho the blog isn’t really. set up yet. i’ve been busy)
There will be one more page of this comic after this one, which will tease the remake a little bit. I do not regret starting this comic at all, I really appreciate all the support you’ve shown over the past year. For anyone who followed this blog for the Elevator AU comic, I hope you’re willing to stick around to see my other projects. Y’all are wonderful :)
