Baby Papyrus and Doctor Dingsie!
For context:
Doctor Dingsie works as a hospital clown to entertain little kids with harmless pranks, funny jokes, and magic tricks. He is not a real doctor, and no, he is also not related to Papyrus at all. He isn’t even a skeleton, he’s a mime monster (hence to why he looks like that).
He is often see by his coworkers (the real doctors) as non stop unserious and very oblivious to day to day life. He doesn’t have to eat, drink, or sleep and he cannot feel pain at all (once someone accidentally spilled hot coffee on him and he didn’t even flinch).
He doesn’t have any kind of powers or real magic, but he is a master at all kinds of magic tricks instead!
Papyrus (aka the Sparks we know and love later on) is almost a year old in this drawing! Little fun fact: back then he still had a shade of deep blue eyes and none of the markings he receives soon.
He also isn’t your typical tortured lab experiment we know from countless other backstories in media. When he was this young he grew up with normal baby stuff, a colorful nursery, books, toys, playtime. For social interactions Doctor Dingsie always took him to his work so he could interact with the other kids there.
Goal in Papyrus’s parenting was to treat him like a human child in order to make his brain and soul develop like a those of a human child (normal skeleton monsters are raised differently than humans, and Papyrus was basically an amalgamation of both in one)
