Oh the merriment we'll have! The growth of our beloved home has given us the rare opportunity to truly test your abilities.
Magic, young ones! We will teach you to harness the strength of your soul!

Downtown Down Under
Sapphire smiled, gazing about the the large cityscape. Sunlight managed to shine from above somehow, despite the fact that they were below ground, and the huge cavern wall ahead at the edge of the city marked the side of the mountain. The castle of the Monster Kingdom was built into the wall so that the opening to the Underground from the surface could be found within.
“It’s too bad I never got to see this place before I...well, you know, died,” she shrugged.
“I think we all died before seeing this place,” chuckled Jamie awkwardly as she walked alongside her.
While Sasha and Archie were away on Soul Island, the girls decided to get to know one another while Jamie helped Sapphire overcome her culture shock. It had been 50 years between her dying and coming back to life after all.
The ballerina furrowed her eyebrows as she gazed around the mildly active shopping district as they explored. “I thought you said the Underground went empty after the Red Soul broke the Barrier...”
Jamie nodded. “It did... Then some monster families started missing the Underground over the past year or so and started moving back now that they had the choice. At least it’s not nearly as crowded as before, and they are starting to dig more entry points for easier communication with their kin on the surface...”
