Unfiltered love for Michigan, on the drive back home from an eventful trip.

Infamy.
Growing up being bullied, harassed, beat up for being fat, being gay, being asian, having bad skin... the list is endless. You learn that the people around you seem to be as judgmental as they are endearing. A little over three years ago, I somehow found my way onto this site. After a while, the followers piled up. Whilst online I grew fame through my posts about life, love, coming out, and the struggle of life, in the real world... I yearned to become a better me. The me I truly wished I could be, and what do you know, after a few years and also changing my perspective on life, I created a masque of myself that others see today. Whether they find me genuinely attractive and handsome or just intoxicated by my wit and charm, I feel confident, safe, but deep down still sad and hurt. Hurt that the old me wasn't accepted, but this new vain masterpiece is showered with affection. However this isn't a complaint. Rather, this is a disclaimer. I am not what others depict me to be. To be honest, I'm tired of being intimidating, I'm tired of being told by others who I am and having random strangers assume they know me and base their attitude towards me just because I seem like this type of person. The less you know, the more interesting I am, however before you become to quick to judge, understand that your impression of me should be based off of your own experiences of talking to me rather than listening to what others say.
