"kunikida?" atsushi is standing in the office doorway, twiddling his thumbs in a way that can only be described as nervous. it takes him a second to formulate his thoughts, the confusion etched onto his face with scrunched brows and a slack jaw, before he continues. "dazai said i should ask you what updog is?"

he pauses the typing at his computer, wanting to give atsushi his full attention. it was common for the younger members to come to kunikida for questions and advice, and he wanted to make sure he was guiding them properly and teaching them well. he notices the look of nervousness, but that's not too unusual for atsushi.
