Hey, I just binge read CBPS and maybe I'm looking too deeply into it, however is Izuku in here supposed to be on the austistic spectrum? Having a parent tell him how to react to social cues, thinking about actions in a social context in order to empathize about them better, super blunt and analytical, plus the whole interested specifically in things that have evolved over the years and quirks- it reminds me a lot of stuff of myself as a kid.

I mean, pretty much every MHA character and their sidekick appears to be Autistic in some fashion, to the point I can only assume either Horikoshi or someone he’s close with is autistic and it unconsciously bled into his work, but yeah, Izuku is autistic! The head bobbing and walking on his hands are stims (similar to the more common tip-toe thing).
