Unknown Knowledge | Garrus & Vel'Koz
The sight of the Void being still frightened the natives of this land, and those visiting alike. Having no interested in stealing all they hold within their minds, Vel'Koz continued, the giant eye hovering a metre from the ground pressing forward, looking for something of interest. Or someone. Nothing intrigued him. This world was dull, uneventful. The people were sad and missing their homes, it was disgusting. Their minds weren't worthy, to fill his own with their feelings would taint the mind of one higher in worth. The fear those feel before his beam destroys them is joyous to the Void being, it is the feeling he expects. Some of these beings look at him as though begging for death. A feeling he doesn't want to waste his time with, so he shall not.
Eyes watch the passers by as they hide in buildings for flee from his sight. This bore him greatly. No one even attempted to stand up, to fight, to lose.
"Why must they flee?"
Worthiness was not here.
Those of interest; far from here.
Traversing for some time, he came across another part of this mysterious world. A light caught the Voids eyes. A weapon shop, it seems. So some here are armed, some here can fight. They can lose to him. Provide a challenge of sorts. Of none, honestly. But to place a sword within the eyes face would prove that the mind of the other had some worth. Disintegration would be worth while. So he pressed on, towards these lights. The eyes glaring into the insides of the building. Looking for someone, something. Perhaps destroying the entire structure would give him the knowledge he seeks. But a waste of his energy it would be if one of worth was not inside. Instead of the Void will wait, waiting for someone to face him, waiting for someone to come to their death.
