Tell me about vampire!Shinichi and/or vampire!Kaito, some headcanons/concepts, if you feel like it, I am all ears 👀 👀 👀 Canonverse or AU? (also, feel better soon <3)

For vampires, rather than AUs completely different from canon, I usually prefer to make it canon divergent. My way-to-go quick solution to include vampires is APTX (the pill itself or the cure) side effect or pandora/other jewels shenanigans.
Although, if we can canonically have witches and demons, we can perfectly have vampires and other supernatural stuff (I thank the MK side at all times for that). A personal favorite thing is to explore why Akako’s charm magic doesn’t work on Kaito.
Perhaps he has dormant powers he isn’t even aware of? It would certainly explain his impossible tricks. Or for the sake of making my vampire-loving self happy, vampires are immune to it and the Kurobas so happen to be a vampire family and you only start needing blood and stuff after you hit some kind of vampire-puberty :3c
Kaito just chilling and suddenly he hits vampire puberty at a strangely convenient time where just Shinichi is nearby. The fight to resist the urges and ultimately fail to contain himself. Blood drinking shenanigans. We could even add that vampires imprint on the first person they drink blood from 👀 ~
Hell, we can use the fact they can detect each other’s presence in canon and put it in the middle of vampire shenanigans. They know when each other is near because their blood is singing to them.
If you’re interested, I have a doc with a Vampire!Shinichi & Immortal!Kaito idea. It’s only ctrl v of when I was talking with a friend, and it’s mostly pain because I love hurt/comfort and angst. Unfortunately, it’s the only written register of my many vampire AUs ;w;
Also a specific thing that is on my mind lately is Spade!Shinichi. But also a Vampire. 100% guaranteed it’s going to be my next vampire drawing once I’m done with the kaishin secret santa gift. No thoughts head empty on this one, I just want Spade!Vampire!Shinichi and I have the power to give it to myself and no one can stop me. I will also give him earrings for the very specific reason that I do what I want and he looks good on them.
