Animated an unlikely lovers clip. Still gotta clean everything up but do u see the vision.. falsetto fandom please wake up (ignore the choppy audio lmao)
The minute “Unlikely Lovers” from falsettos starts playing I start crying. It’s such a heartbreaking song, to me almost even more so than “What Would I Do?”. Something about these four close friends, four queer people right at the start of the AIDS crisis knowing all they can do is be scared. They don’t know what’s happening to Whizzer, all they know is that he will most likely die, and that Marvin will follow. And yet they pretend like nothing is wrong and hold on to each other. Everything is uncertain and the only thing they’re all sure about is their love for each other, which is called into question EVERY DAY. LESBIANS AND GAY MEN SINGING “Who’d have thought that we four would end up as lovers?” TEARS HAVE ALREADY STARTED. “Let’s be scared together, let’s pretend that nothing is awful.” Heart already broken. This was a lot of rambling but in conclusion I love “Unlikely Lovers” and queer people so much. Genuinely one of the most moving musical theater songs I have ever listened to. I will never get over my love for this show.
Give an artist a good pencil and their life will change
its me and a vague similarities between a breakfast over sugar and the beginning of unlikely lovers that i've deluded myself into hearing with little to no evidence against the world
