I'm a sucker for webtoons and recently four of my five absolute favourite webtoons finished for the season. It's hard not knowing when the next season will start up again, and I miss them so much! Thankfully, though, I've found a couple of new ones to keep me going each week in the meantime. 😅

i love leo because he’s funny and can’t take anything seriously, but at the same time he’s using this humour and personality to cover up his horrible and traumatic past. in a way i can relate, ive been called heartless and insensitive by those closest to me because i’m not very good at showing any emotion that isn’t laughter or joking around. honestly, i’ve just finished the first book in hoo (hero’s of olympus) and i was almost catching feels. i almost kin leo in a way (i’m always catching feels for good-looking boys) but at the same time i don’t, anyway - he’s my newest comfort character.

nook (i have no idea what his last name is) is insensitive, funny and dirty minded. SIGN ME UP. his first interaction in the webtoon - unlovable replacement - was to call chiko a virgin, laugh about it and act really bigheaded. ME. i have a huge head and a massive, ever-growing ego, but i am self aware (i’m such a good person) and nook is very self aware too. he also loves his turtle, and i agree

I FUCKING LOVE YOU MIRAE. mirae’s a funny, happy-go-lucky, i’ll-kill-you-if-you-touch-my-friends, food-is-life character. but she had a really hard time getting to who she is now, when she was in primary school her name was se-ha seo and she was a child star in a reality tv show. she got loads of hate and death comments from the internet and her own friends made a ‘we hate se-ha seo’ club which gained 2,000+ members. she locked herself away in her room for years until she finally managed to swallow most of her trauma and go back to school when she reached high-school. I JUST LOVE HER OKAY? anyway, i have a type, traumatised comedians.

love this boy, he’s funny, boy-best friend character who’s also an amazing big brother. he cares about shin ae and his sister maya. i love him, but we rarely see him :(

she’s just so warm and kind and inviting. like she’s older sister material. she’s stealing daniel’s heart and she’s stolen mine. i respect her hustle.
