ISU JSF badge test
In July I took a skate test because my coach wanted me to take it. Initially I wasn’t going to take it because since I didn’t have a Japanese skater card thing I couldn’t apply. I had already applied for it through my club but somehow it just wasn’t ready yet. My coach then asked one of his skater’s mum to help me apply for it and so she did. I didn’t exactly want to take it but couldn’t say no. Technically I should be able to pass it easily since it’s a beginner’s level but my basic skills are very weak and I only had 20 days to prepare myself for it. July was a very stressful time since not only did I have finals, but I also had JLPT to revise for and now I had to do a skate test. Because I’ve never taken a skate test before, I was really nervous and had no confidence whatsoever, up until the results came out I was absolutely certain that I was going to fail. But, alas I passed!!
