Cameron loved the snow. Despite how it iced up the roads and made it about ten times harder to take care of his bike, something about it would always appeal to him. So that morning, he'd derived the smallest bit of pre-workday happiness from seeing the light dusting of white covering everything outside.
Grabbing his coat, the shifter set out for work a few blocks away. He was planning on getting there before it opened; a nice cup of coffee for himself once in a while didn't hurt, and he knew how busy today would probably be. The owner had apparently thought ahead of time-- a pot was already being made, left out for Cam's not-really-breakfast.
That moment of hesitation, staring through the frosted window, gave him the opportunity to notice that he was not alone. A man he'd never seen before stood a few feet away, and he was looking straight inside rather longingly, from what he could see. The redhead had bumped into most of the city through his job, so meeting someone new was rare. He shoved his hands in his pockets and smiled, watching his breath fog in the air for a moment, and walked over to the new guy.
"You just gonna stand out here like a lost puppy, or are ya gonna come inside?"
