Guidelines for Posting
Below are the guidelines for posting on the Unrestricted Section.
Plagiarism:
The Unrestricted Section does not tolerate plagiarism. If it's found out that you've claimed someone else's work as your own, you will be reported and lose the privilege of posting here. You can, however share other's works with their permission/with credit.
Tagging:
We're insisting that you tag as explained below so we can maintain as much order on here as possible! Thank you so much for your understanding.
Mandatory tags:
genre its in (fiction, poetry, fanfiction, etc)
title of the piece
your url
a tag for all your work (mine is andii writes and Becca's is becca's words)
mature (if it has any mature content)
tag writeworld (if you decide to use one of their prompts)
and tag unrestrictedsection
optional tags:
tags regarding the subject of the piece
characters or fandom (if the piece is fanfiction)
Long pieces:
If the piece is more than 4 stanzas, use the read more tool after the 3rd stanza. If the piece is more than 3 paragraphs, use the read more tool after the 2nd paragraph.
Reblogging/Critiques:
Reblogging work from the Unrestricted Section to your personal blog is totally fine! In fact, we encourage that! So, reblog as often as you'd like!
The Unrestricted Section is a writing community, so we want everyone to interact. Reply and critique other's writing (constructively) and when you do sign it with your name. For instance, I love the way you used this literary element for such and such effect! -Andii (malfoyficent). We want to get to know eachother, so please do get involved!
Bullying Policy:
The Unrestricted Section does NOT tolerate bullying and harassment of any kind. If it's found out that you have been harassing someone on tumblr or being mean by dealing non-constructive criticism, you will be reported and/or removed from the Writing Community at the Unrestricted Section. This place is a bully-free zone. You are free to speak your mind without fear of being bullied for doing so. However, if we feel that you are using the writing craft to slander/offend a group, religion, ideology, belief, person, etc; you will be reported and removed as well.
If by any chance, you do say/do something mean without intending to be mean, we'll understand. If it was truly an accident, then it's totally okay. Just apologize to the person you may have offended and all will be well. No harm, no foul, no punishment. :)

By reblogging, you have agreed to the terms and understand the repercussions of not following the rules explained. You will not be granted access to posting until you've signed up and reblogged this.
