Why not continue to draw the way you want to draw?
Oh, I will, that's not up for debate. If I listened to EVERY criticism against my art that people have lobbed at me, I'dve had to give up on Kerricks YEARS ago. Thing is, I'm not contemplating change because I feel I HAVE to, it's because I both need to learn to branch out with my abilities a bit more and have a simpler "fallback plan" for if I decide I want to do a long comic or something. While I love the way I do hair now, attempting that again and again on several characters in every comic panel would be time-consuming and carpal tunnel-inducing.
Think of these kinds of deliberations as potential paths to travel on my road to (hopefully) eventual art evolution.

the skelly's first birthday could be the day they emerge from the grave, and eventually their graveyard gets paved over with a monolithic building from CORPORATION INC. and they'd have to move through the ranks of office clerks and buisnessmen through to the TOP BOSS CEO and after you defeat him you get to see the graveyard again with skeletons with ties and suits emerging from graves but have it really cutesy and don't think about the darker implications of this
