I fw unwanted plot armor sooo bad..

Like, from the START you can tell that whatever plague befalls this character, they will survive-

But what if they didn’t want that? What if they want to except death, the peace that comes with it, the escape from the responsibilities they shouldn’t have to be burdened with- but are left clawing desperately and uselessly at an end that will never come? They will survive, but not without a fight from the rest of the antagonists and even them themselves.
