When she became pregnant with her third child, Lottie decided to move back to her hometown in Connecticut and pursue a career in which she could be closer to her children. Despite her arguments with Nick, she’s extremely grateful to have him close by to help look after Eric.
Struggling to find work, Lottie took a position at a strip club a few miles out of town and works there regularly every weekend. She’s kept this to herself with only Madison, Heather and Cindy knowing. She tells everyone else that she is touring around towns and singing throughout America, which is indeed a lie. As she is supposedly singing in only small bars, she doesn’t need to cover her tracks.
Her manager approached after she’d asked if she could get more hours or a raise to help cover living costs and looking after Eric, Elizabeth and Leonardo. He agreed to help her earn some extra cash if she helped out with his other business, and being as desperate as she was, she chose to take it. She now works part time illegally as an untrained and underground plastic surgeon. With no experience and only one advisor to learn her the ways, she’s sure she’ll mess up and end up going to prison — but the money is more important. This nobody knows about.
She meets up with her friends every so often, regularly visits Jason and Dean. She’s become very close to Millicent Falcon, and is interning for her campaign from home — which also helps with her money situation, which Millie is aware of.
Lottie is slowly day by day losing her faith, but she continues to pray and hope that one day her faith in the Lord will be restored. Her three children attend Sunday school every week without fail, due to her mother’s persistence. She still wears her cross when she strips, and says a prayer everyday before she’s forced to undergo someone’s surgery.
