Custom Upcycled SDG Brooch for the beautiful @nicolette.stephanie worn to the @unitednations 77th Year Anniversary hosted by @una.nyc ... Always grateful to help @nicolette.stephanie add a bit of upcycled glam to her outfits. Took a vintage brooch that needed some TLC and cleaned it and got it shining once again, replaced a missing crystal with a Swarovski crystal from a broken earring and added her broken SDG pin to it. Simple but worked out well. I went with a blue crystal to emphasize Sustainable Development Goal 14 "Life below water" and is one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations in 2015.
